thought there was some kind of pattern there! So try saving up until you have enough to buy one on sale – and don't go any higher. Sooner or later they're going to HAVE to have a sale.
(Or maybe we would never see one on sale again. Scratch that!)
If Amazon depended on me to subsidize their eBook and eReader business they would go broke. I buy used (or heavily discounted) devices, buy cheap "reprint" books and borrow from the library for everything else. (I guess every now and then I buy a full-priced Kindle book.)
