That's the way Moon+ reader on Android works and I agree that it's the best solution to this. If I change the font it changes the page numbers accordingly. A page is a screen full of text. That's direct and sensible. I wish ereader devices would do that.

I think the next best solution I've seen is Amazon's location. People seem to get upset because that doesn't relate to anything you see but it does relate to the book in the device and gives you all the information you need to get a good sense of where you are.

On my Kindle I tend to use time instead, not for any real reason that I'm aware of. But when I need a more accurate sense of where I am in the book for some reason I'll switch to locations for a while.

The Nook gives me page numbers and that's okay. But it's probably the least informative method in an ereader. I think the only reason companies use page numbers in ereaders is that's what people have learned to expect from books.
