I've had some 'antique pine' waxes which went a nasty orange after a couple of years. Now I'm using a brand which doesn't go orange. It's made by Fiddes in Cardiff and I usually buy it at their factory shop. (I also like the idea of using locally-made products.)

hm, sounds lovely. i don't like the sound of that nasty orange colour though. pine darkens with age naturally already and tends to go a bit orangeish and i don't like that. i've got some pine stuff around the house too and i've been trying to decide whether i prefer it as is or if i should put a finish on it.
