Is it just the one book or all epubs?
If just the one book then I would say the publisher has fixed it where fonts can't be changed.
My recommendation would be read a different book or read it on a tablet or a computer if it is a must read.
Alternatively: try to find a kindle compatible format.
No need for an example.
