Thanks for that. So just to check that I'm understanding that thread correctly:

1) if the book contains embedded fonts, I end up with some sans-serif font or other (don't know which) as the default, but specifying "body { font-family: serif; }" makes the default a serif font (Bookerly?)

2), 3): "no" to both.

Am I correct?
