I use to do that too, never bumped into anything and got a lot of reading done going to and from school. Though if it was a really good book I had to forgo reading on the way to school or I would be late because I 'had to finish one more part.'
I also read on my Cybook in the bath, on the couch, in a recliner, in the car as a passenger, in the kitchen eating meals but not cooking, on a plane, outside on the deck, anywhere I might read a pbook really. I've had this thing for over a year now and it's a lot more solid than it's given credit for.
