If it's the physical size, then upping the font size should not change overall reading speed.

The old Sony 7" readers had a aspect ratio close to your wanted one. About 91mm wide and 157mm high. The width is very close to the same as a 6" Kindle or Kobo screen but the height is greater. Models PRS-900 and PRS-950.
