That's not what I see when I go to the Wiki page. I see an update for this firmware that specifically says NOT for the mini (and a couple of other models) and another that says for the Limited Edition model only.
If you look at the various firmware updates, virtually all the recent firmware updates specifically say NOT for the mini.
Insulting the people who could probably most help you wouldn't seem to be a very bright way at resolving the situation. You'll also notice that such instructions usually say to use at your own risk.
