Which was a good issue. I'll do a full review later, but nothing really stood out.

Then I read The One by John Marrs. Another book where I was taken in by the hype. It sounded rather promising, but the premise is ridiculous. Given the premise, the business aspect is ridiculous. Given those two, the disparate plot elements are unsatisfying.

And finally, one character, being without their reading glasses, moves closer to a computer monitor to see the text more clearly.

Since their glasses, contact lenses, or vision problems are never otherwise mentioned, it seems odd to mention it in a way that shows the author has no clue about vision problems at all.

Disappointing. I was hoping the ending would be satisfying enough to justify the rest. It wasn't.

I'm not sure what I'll read next.
