You're talking about two different things. I was only addressing your claim that the advantages of KFX could be done with KF8. The advantages of KFX are pre-rendered content that attempts to ensure optimal rendering on various supported devices. Device X gets file Y. Doing "the same thing" with KF8 would be pre-rendered device-specific content in KF8.
