I got the 650 and the battery finally started to give out. Before replacement batteries were available, I got a T1. Then I got my mother a T1. I got a nook STR on the cheap (about $20) as a backup just in case. The H2O cause out and I decided I wanted one so I got that. I have my mother's T1 as my 2nd T1.

So it's not just about waiting until a Reader wears out. It's about a significant upgrade.
