Thanks everyone for all your help. I guess I was looking for an easy way to turn the audio off, but I will just have to go the few extra steps to stop it. I usually read my books, but I borrow some from the library and they are mostly in a format that I can't use or in mp3 format.

And thank you BOb for your input on helping me find my way around the forum. I think I have finally figured it out.
