Anybody heard about a new firmware coming for DPT-RP1 which would fix crippled Bluetooth to enable wireless page turners/keyboard connections?
Sony's digital paper business development guy said in a June infomercial that he would like to see Bluetooth page turners for musicians eventually (18:40 of http://techblogwriter.co.uk/sony-digital-paper/). Consider whether this would ever come to pass given that the DPT-S1 ever had only one firmware update and that, six months on, there is not even an update for basic, DPT-RP1 page navigation. Sony does not seem to have spent a lot on RP1 marketing and has shown a lack of concern on RP1 production. Sony has also invested in a third party, e-ink notebook developer, Linfiny (http://blog.the-ebook-reader.com/201...ink-notebooks/).
