A reply from a friend who have information about this:

1. all the screen is same from E-ink company
2. this 7. 8 inch screen is no touch and no front light
3. so means you have to make the FL and touch by yourself
4. then reason is here---different FL and touch supplier, the technology level may not same, i can think kobo supplier is better to control the reflective rate
