Well, I am positive that I have books stored in the Calibre Library subdirectories that do NOT have a cover.jpg and still cover:false does NOT show them.

With edit metadata I can remove the cover, although there is no cover.jpg file.
Then it does show up in cover:false.

I can solve my problem manually by visually inspecting each cover in cover grid view and delete those that do not look like real covers. With more than 5400 books it will keep me off the street for some time https://mobileread.cdn.speedyrails.n...cons/icon7.gif
