If you do not have the trademark holder's permission, I'd strongly suggest that you rename your book to use a generic phrase such as "slow cooker".

HarryT, no crockpot is not trademarked.
I own way too many different brands.
. At least 2 different companies call their slow cookers crockpots so the author has not violated trademark. Matter of fact, crockpot just describes the vessel. Hamilton Beach and Rival also Bella. (Bella is the cheap ones).
Come to think of it, only West Bend slow cookers are not crockpots. They are nonstick pans over bases.
