eReader with expandable storage?
I have been using my beloved Nook ST for a very long time, and I think it's time to upgrade. The front runner is currently a Kindle PW, but my concern is storage. I have an SD card in my Nook and both it and my Nook onboard storage is jam packed (although it is not rooted or anything so there is that onboard space reserved for B&N content). I like having a lot of books with me and just throw everything on rather than worry about adding and removing books. I will likely be doing a lot of sideloading since I use Calibre.
I see that the PW has 4 GB of storage and the Nook 3 (which I like the warmer light at night) has only 1 GB for sideloaded content. Are there any readers that still have an SD slot that don't cost an arm and a leg? Or do I need to either bite the bullet and spend more for more storage or spend more time doing library management? Is it possible to recover the space set aside for B&N content on the Nook 3?
Yes, I know realistically that I do not need over 1000 books with me at any time, but for some reason it's somewhat important to me.
