High-res is print quality; includes print-quality cover and high-resolution artwork at the beginning of each chapter. (The first letter of each chapter is surrounded by leaves and embellishments; the "regular" version has them as jpg imagery, which is somewhat pixelated; the high-res version has them as vector artwork.) The "regular" version doesn't have the color cover.
Practical difference: about 20mb. Regular version is 2mb; high-res is 22mb.
