PG is one of my tests sites. But, I just go to home page and download one of the books listed. Which means a different book each time which is good for testing. And so far I've had zero luck in actually seeing a book there that I would be remotely interested in reading.

And your one up on me with War and Peace. I feel like I should read it, but, then I decide I'll read something I think I'll enjoy.
