But at this point, I think it is too late for Kobo to gain on Amazon. So long as they maintain their niche and remain profitable, that will have to be good enough for Kobo.
I think that's kind of where Barnes & Noble is now also. They're never going to be a threat to Amazon again, but they do have their niche.
