Not sure about that. Night Shift is a short story collection. I don't remember one about people in a morgue. But then, I don't remember everything.
Edit: Oh! I think you're mixing Stephen King's Night Shift with
the Michael Keaton/Henry Winkler movie about two guys who run a brothel out of the morgue. I've never seen the movie, but it's a cult classic. And very in-Stephen King-y.
