And you are wise to be. But at any rate, the figures come from a Nielson survey in the UK, the publisher's association in the UK and the Association of American Publishers. So if they're full of hot air, you'd think it would be in the publisher's interest to correct the information.
I can only say that based on the information their publisher association provides, it would seem that the price point of eBooks is too high, causing sales to fall year after year while according to those same reports, physical book sales rose.
Audio books might be taking off as well, but that doesn't explain why eBook sales declined and physical book sales went up.
