We got a Butterball turkey breast roast in the freezer for Thanksgiving. It comes in a cooking bag. So it's foolproof.
My mother in law makes her turkey in her Nesco roaster. Those are pretty neat. It's not a slow cooker but it kind of looks like one. Keeps the kitchen from heating up.
