That is true enough. I make use of offers in grocery stores, but because I am dependent on public transport, it's impossible to get them all. Trying to squeeze out the last penny while doing grocery shopping just isn't possible because of that. It would either cost too much money to travel, or too much time.
We have some supermarkets here that are quite expensive (AH/Albert Heijn), mid-tier (Jumbo/Plus), and cheap (Aldi/Lidl). The last two just stock 'standard stuff', so if it's all I need, I go there; if I need something more exotic, I go to Jumbo or Plus, picking the one with the most/biggest offers.
