Seriously, thanks--I didn't think about being able to see them in person. Best Buy and Target are a little out of my way, but my local Staples has both, and I need to go there anyway this week.

I'd be interested to know if you discern a noticeable difference in screen clarity between the Fire HD8 and HD10. I've been a bit disappointed in my HD8's screen when compared to the HD6 I used previously.
Right now I'm seriously considering the 10" at $99.99, but I have about a week to talk myself out of buying it.
