The main thing I want to do with the author list is to open the list of all authors that begin with a particular letter. That is doable by clicking on the triangle to the left of the letter one wants to open.

However, that is the hardest thing to successfully click on in the whole author row. Clicking anywhere else cycles through the +, -, and silhouette figure. To be honest I don't know what the + or - modes do but if people are like me, the main thing they want to do is open the author list for that letter.

I suggest adding a double-click behavior when clicking on the letter that would open the list of all authors with that letter (like the triangle does). Or possibly a new tweak that would address this.
