I have seen Let The Right One In and Dracula as plays. Dracula had sets and costumes designed by Edward Gorey and it was the neatest play I've ever seen. The sets were actually sketches and the costumes, props and furniture were all black, white and gray, with a rare touch of red (say, a single rose in a vase). Here's an image from the play:

I saw the Edward Gorey Dracula several times, with different actors playing the title role--including the original version with Frank Langella, who was wonderfully elegant and mesmerizing.
