Amazon likes to use fake prices as marketing tools. Another example is when they advertise an audiobook for $0.00 (with your first month's subscription in fine print) and force you to hunt for the actual price.
The do it with books too, putting the Kindle Unlimited price in big print and making you look for the real prince in fine print.
I'm a big fan of Amazon in general but I've sent them a couple of complaints about these practices. They're deceptive and despicable.
Well, since, at 77, I've shrunk all the way down to 5'4" tall, I guess saying I'm a big fan is a bit deceptive, too.
