If I had to keep chickens, it would be a problem due to the coyote pack that resides in the copse on our property. (sigh). I was thinking about keeping some geese, as a home-security system of the rural kind, but same thing--don't want to have to deal with murdered geese. (Or the goats I thought about keeping for lawn maintenance and goat's milk.)
We have coyotes and foxes and these babies:



They couple those teeth with a blood-curdling shriek, too.
