The contrast is about the same as on my old Oasis, i.e. nothing beats the contrast on the Voyage. But with the new boldness options it's a non-issue. One other thing, on the new Oasis I find it easier to read with the font upped one size (to size 6). So I'm afraid the larger screen won't be of much use for me, heh. Anyway, I like all my three Kindles and am going to read on all of them.

I would say they are about the same.
