Device: More than I need, but not as many as I would like.

I have a KA1, and, yes, it is a very good device. Love it for so many reasons.

Unfortunately, I can't install apps on it. Currently, I would have to use my tablet to take a screenshot of the relevant map, copy it onto a usb stick, transfer it to a computer and then sideload it onto my KA1.

Not a difficult process. I have done it and it works. But it takes a bit of time and one needs access to a computer. That can be difficult when traveling and when one sometimes changes one's route mid hike.

Nor would I be able to draw on any map that I manually loaded into my KA1.

On the Note, assuming I could install my intended app, I would be able to have all relevant maps preloaded. All I would have to do is open them up. I could then also take a screenshot of any map and draw or make notes on it. I might also be able to use the image as a screensaver so that I could look at it without the power on. in short, it could prove a very useful device for hiking.
