I can't get it to crash on my Windows machine either. Is there something other than making sure the html toc (which is listed in the guide as the toc) is open in Code View before generating the html toc? Do I need a specific test case epub?

My Windows machine is using Qt5.6.2 (same Qt the official Sigil release uses) and my Linux machine is using Qt5.9.2.
