I have my very own "bad battery" iLiad to experiment with.

This morning my new friend wouldn't power up on the bus (even though I thought I'd turned it off the previous night). No big deal, charge it when I get to work.

I get to work, plug it in, power it up: battery meter says flat. Hmm must not have turned it off last night like I thought.

Whilst it charged I plugged into the USB and updated content. I unplug the USB and notice that the LED is not red, its off. Wow that was a quick ... err how come the battery meter isn't 100%?

You would think that after getting a run of these they'd pull their inventory and re-test the units before shipping them out. This is getting into the unforgivable category at this point.
