My 32gb wifi screen lighting is really even. If I didn't know the lights were on the button side, I'd be hard pressed to tell where the light was coming from. Admittedly I'm really not sensitive or picky about this, and I seldom use the light at all. (Glad it turns all the way off.)
After 4 days, I'm still finding the form factor awkward. Especially when reading in bed.
