Thank you for posting this. I currently have a 3g 32gb Oasis that has shading on the opposite side of the buttons. I'm not crazy about it. I don't know if I want to start the returning game either. Can I ask where you purchased the 8gb models? My Best Buy has them in stock (but not the 32gb). I'm thinking about just buying the 8gb and returning the 32gb to Amazon.
I'm just afraid that all the Oasis models have the shading.
