Since as near as I can tell, all three of the titles have been out since 2015 or earlier, it doesn't sound like a 90 day experiment.

Though I've purchased books on Amazon, and his in particular in the past, if he HAS made a decision to not make his current books available, I'll just set him inactive in Calibre (it's what I do when the authors die) and not bother looking for his stuff any more.

There are too many authors out there who write interesting books to waste time on those that aren't interested in reaching library readers.
