I’ve come across many books I’d like to read that aren’t available in ebook form at my public library. I don’t know exactly how it works, but the library in question has to pay for the ability to offer the book. Just because a book is released in ebook form doesn’t mean it will be available to borrow from your library.

I’m sure someone from Mobile Read will have a more complete explanation.

As an example...Emma Miller’s latest Amish Read is still not available at my local library, even though the previous books in the series are.
