I thought I'd post this in case anyone went through the hell I went through today.

I updated my kindle previewer from 3.14 to 3.15 this morning. At the same time I'd made many changes to the html in my ePub file. When I went to preview the ePub in the kindle previewer, it failed (error was: "could not convert file"). I assumed it was a coding error.

I checked everything - ran it through an epub validator, etc. Fixed a few minor things, but nothing that should error on opening the ePub. Could find no problems at all. On a hunch, I uninstalled version 3.15 and reinstalled 3.14 (luckily I had the older version backed up through Crash Plan backup). The ePub opens with no issues at all.

Kindle previewer is awesome and I've been using it for weeks now to preview my book. For those of you experiencing the same issue, ePubs do not open in the latest version.
