<nevermind on the paste--it was ludicrously long. and i see you have a beta already but it appears i'd have to muck around with python to use it and i'm retired from all that gnu/linux stuff. >

<later nevermind. found the build and just ran it and it recognized the new kindle perfectly. btw, i had the previous oasis and i didn't really need a bigger version nor did i need any audible crap or waterproofing. what i did need was the 32mb of memory as the 4mb in the previous model just wasn't cutting it in my goal to have storage for all my books in one device i could use offline. tks agn and brightest blessings to you for this brilliant project. /guy >
