The color temperature of the LEDs seems to me to be about the same as all the other front-lit Kindles I've owned. Hopefully the next version will go for warm white. That's now the last feature not offered that I want.

Or perhaps someday someone will make a tempered glass overlay to do the shift. I came across a tempered glass warm-white screen protector when getting accessories for the iPhone X that should come next month sometime. In that case, it struck me as redundant because iOS offers a warm-white color-shift option already, so why bother?
