The Goodreads article is written in first person, apparently by James Rollins himself. He didn't say anything about "for a limited time". It was an electronic version only, so it's not like they printed a batch and then ran out.
I did sign up on the Rollins website, so that I could ask my question there. Its rather convoluted. You sign up, then get an email you need to respond to confirming that you signed up (which I did), and then you have to wait for 24-72 hours (per the website) before they will deliver you a password. I assume after that, you are allowed to login to their website and ask your question. I thought I'd ask here too, while I was waiting. Sorry to have bothered anybody, that's not what I intended. I was just hoping that somebody else here was a Rollins fan and may know something about this.
