She's still an autobuy for me.

I think she did too good of a job making me dislike the hero's actions from years before. The angst was very well done, but...

I didn’t have an issue with the mistake he’d made in dumping the heroine to pursue a solo singing career since (A) they were young, (B) his family history of being constantly told by his father he was worthless, and (C) he had planned to send for her. But the fact he hadn’t really tried to reconnect much sooner meant I needed more than a simple sorry.

Also, he was still using the same manager. That issue was at least somewhat addressed, but I still found it irksome.


It wasn't a bad novella, just not a favorite. She's written much better ones.
