Those are TYPES of MOBI--not standalone file formats, in the scope of what's properly called a "format." A "format" of file is a file extension--not a conceptual or actual difference between TYPES of that format.

I agree that Wolf is being obstinate about KF8 but there is an extension that Amazon will use for this format. It is AZW3.
