ps - same outome on both my amazon (Fire HDX) and my samsung (Tab s) tablets
Kindle app auto updated on both - icon changed - "lost" my on-device amazon books", all app preferences changed back to defaults "the 1st time around" tips for how to use the app re-appeared... it appears to have done a silent uninstall then reinstall ?
curious to know if anyone with hundreds of downloaded books is being affected like this and if they have complained ?
