Yeah, no. I'm looking right at the list of my individual devices I can turn 1-Click on/off for. So I trust my eyes more than your bias that's supported by some outdated help page.

I may have been wrong about it affecting digital purchases, but 1-Click CAN be turned off for individual devices. But regardless of all that ...

There will be no screwing by an accidental screen touch (for competent folk, anyway). You still can't buy an ebook without clicking a "Buy this ebook" button.

Tapping once on an item in a recommendation from the Kindle app's home page will not buy an ebook.

I'm not getting the problem. Nothing I can see in the new app makes it any easier to "accidentally" buy an ebook than it would be to do so in any of the older versions.
