This does not belong in Kindle Fire forum (maybe Apple forum?), though it is true that features that show up for Kindle for iOS often make their way to the Fire’s Kindle app after a few weeks or months.
Goodreads has been there in some form for some time now, and the press release isn’t really going to make much sense until the update drops and we can see what they are talking about (the latest update was just a couple of days ago).
I’m more interested in meat-and-potatoes features like Split Screen support (on iPad), Word Runner, independent text layout settings for portrait|landscape|landscape 2 column (on iPad), orphan control. Speak Screen should highlight sentences/words as iBooks and other apps do.
But am open to improvements in getting around the app: it takes 3 taps to get back to Library, compared to 2 for Fire, Kindle, Android, 2 to get to TOC vs 1 swipe for Fire/Android. And if there are more font adjustments (adjust bold etc) that will be nice.
