Offical First Thread in a New section!

So, after much begging and a great deal of inappropriate prostration and a certain level of embarrasing crying like a little girl, Alex has created a new forum called the Writers' Section! There was some debate about calling it the Writer's Section and Writers Section, but Harry won out by holding his breath until he turned blue, which is startling and concerning in someone that age, and there you have it. There was a brief foray into calling it the Writing Section, just to get past the pedantery of it all, but here you have it.

I'm jumping in here to make the very first post in the section, because I wanted to.

What we are hoping to do is to cultivate the presence of people who contribute to our mutual enjoyment of the written word by having a section devoted to the process of writing, the foibles of converting to electronic reading formats that are less technical and more "nuts and bolts," and quite possibly, some original work.

Of course, it should also be a place for the adoring fans to interact with their favorite authors, as well.

So, jump in, post your links to where we can get your stuff, offer well thought out criticism and proofreading, and mostly, enjoy!
