ONLY the jail break is bridged across Amazon updates.
After an Amazon update, anything OTHER THAN the jail break has to be re-installed.
Did you reinstall everything after the update to 5.8.10?

Has your device been allowed to connect to the Internet recently?
There is a 5.8.11 hang around out there to be sent to your Kindle OTA.
