The information you posted is excellent, and I will check it thoroughly as soon as I will be at my desk.

I rememered the Wake Lock differently, but it could be it: I will take the Kingsoft (and TextMaker) apk and test injecting the different flags of the wake lock mechanism, maybe starting already with the "full wake lock".

That of Automate is an excellent tip!

But that it is not the only limiter they put: try a VNC (or TeamViewer, or other) session; on other devices, the mouse cursor is updated continuously, on the Icarus it is updated much less frequently. I have not taken stats, but I can say that you have to look for where it "randomly" went at every wrist move - you cannot see any cursor movement.
