Editted: Actually, it sort of reminds me of the infamous (and strangely hilarious in a car smash kinda way) "My Immortal" fanfiction story - said to be the worst fanfic ever written. Although, arguments still rage about whether it's a huge wind up or...tragically real. I lean towards the satire theory. It nails every cliché (atrocious spelling, inconsistencies, Mary Sue to the Max etc). To be honest, I haven't read much passed the first chapter because...ouch. The above link isn't the original version of the story I "read" but like Dale's classic, the comments on the original were better than the story.
I had heard that the worst fan-fiction piece of writing was "The Eye of Argon," by Jim Theis.
